fuck me auba is fast
Fuck me Foster is slow
Fook me? Fook you!
Where's Ashley Barns when you need him
Shaggadelic baby. I appreciate a good Austin Powers reference when I see one.
That's for you
Fook me that was fast
Fuck you bloody
well, saddle up, partner.
Pretty awful touch from Foster too
Performs like world class De Gea against United
Fuck me, Janmat, don't do that shit.
He could've booted it first time sure, but so could Foster. The decision by Janmaat to back pass isn't as bad as the Fosters to take (and fuck up) a touch there when he can see the press
Both bad, one led to another.
Probably just me being old school, but the olden days of never passing back to the keeper is a good model to follow.
I'm gonna bet Foster would agree after this.
Just went back and watched it a few more times.
For me it's the time on the ball and reaction to the press. Janmaat thinks about the clear, decides Auba is too close and might block it to win possession/a corner, rightly decides not to try and dribble him, and so chooses the safe option.
Foster receives the pass fine and sees the press coming but decides to touch away and take his time picking a pass. The touch isn't even as bad as I initially thought, he just takes so long before kicking. I get that the burst of speed is unexpected but he turned away and left the pressing player out of his own sight.
Foster said in his post game interview that it was not the press but the pace at which it happened and how quickly Aubameyang was onto him that made the difference.
Right he clocks the press, has a touch away from it, and takes a moment to pick the pass. But in doing this he turns his back on Auba and as soon as he turns Auba kicks on fill sprint.
I understand why he thought he had longer but I think it's his fault for being unaware of the incoming player.
I watched it a few more times too. Auba was fast, no doubt. And this was a 1 in a thousand event.
However, I just can't tell myself that all coaches would be okay if my kid passes it back to the keeper.
It's the same rule as don't clear towards the middle of the park in the box.
Fuck you? No, no, no... Fuck me!
Do 69 then.
That's called efficient!
With or without lube?
The extension on that last stride to get his foot in front was super impressive, obviously a laugher from Foster but amazing work by Auba.
Fuck me that keeper bottled that
That streamlined hair innit.
How does he rank in terms of top strikers?
it’s an odd one because he misses a lot of good chances but still scores lots of goals, i wouldn’t say he’s world class but he’s probably in the next category
If Auba isn't world class, what is world class ?
The service at the WALDORF ASTORIA!
*does the finger money thing*
Messi, Ronaldo, Lewi, Suarez
i think it's spelled louis
He means lewandowski
I know he just set it up too perfectly for me to not say it
Too bad it's Luis***
Is Lacazette better than him?
Its a matter of opinion but i’d say Laca is the better footballer, Auba the better goalscorer
Yep. Like Laca will be more clinical, but auba will create more chances. Honestly, they compliment each other very well for that reason.
Who's better really comes down to who we're playing and what defensive scheme the opponent is using.
I agree that Laca is a better footballer but I am not sure if he is a more clinical finisher. He shoots so less as he is very selective about what he shoots I think. Auba I think is an elite goal scorer and if he in any team plays as an central striker for the complete season he pretty much guarantees 25 league goals a season.
That’s exactly how I feel😂^ Both are better than Lukaku’s garbage ass🤷♂️
Didn’t expect him to score this many goals after his departure from Dortmund.
He’s world class at creating his chances. Average finisher. The stats bear it out. Him and Aguero create the most chances for themselves far beyond any other striker. But his finishing is right at a normal strikers finishing percentage.
Easily top 10 in the world, up there with the best for his goal scoring record for many years now
Better than Kane?
Kane is much, much better overall. Auba is really weird, he kinda just scores goals and doesn't do much else e.g. not much build up support
Fair. Just wanted someone to say yes to piss off my Tottenham obsessed mate
Don't worry, they'll be pissed off with the return of St. Totteringham's day this year
He was very good with his build-up last season and played most games from out-wide for Lacazette to play up front. Scored 11 in 14 league games.
No, as much as I would like to say he is. I don't mind though cos we've got Laca as well who isn't far off both of them.
Absolutely no fucking way
Do you really need to ask that?
This BBC piece makes interesting points?
It might sound ludicrous to suggest Tottenham are a better team without Kane, but they just might be.
Mauricio Pochettino's side were without Kane on Saturday, but if they were missing him they certainly didn't show it, romping to a 4-0 win over Huddersfield at their sparkling new stadium.
That was the fifth league game the 25-year-old has missed this campaign and Spurs have won them all. With him in the side, their win percentage in the league is only 60.7%.
*Also, when Kane has featured Spurs average only 1.9 goals per game, whereas when he has been absent that jumps to 2.4.
Oddly enough it appears they're better at the other end, too. When Kane has played, Tottenham concede an average of 1.1 goals per game, and when he hasn't featured the figure stands at just 0.6.
So with crucial games coming up in the race for the top four, are Pochettino and Spurs better off without Kane?
What the article doesn't mention though is that most of the 5 games without him are probably against relatively weaker sides.
That doesn't exactly say anything about how good Kane is, but it could definitely say things about how Kane is used in Tottenham.
Wouldn't be the first time that a team shape its play around a player and it ends up costing them more than it offers I suppose.
Is that a little bite? 👀
You watch that pathetic hesitancy from a supposedly top class goalkeeper and you comment on the striker sticking his leg out. Football fans are a weird bunch.
Thanks Foster, very cool!
And very legal
But it was not very cash money of him.
That was sex and I am cash
That wasn't very country roads of him...
Man, I have a hunch he's going to remember this goal for the rest of his career.
Man's desperate to avoid playing in the FA Cup final.
Aubameyang is Faster, very cool!
*Hildebrand flashbacks intensify*
This meme was stale a month ago. Why do I bother reading the comments on top posts here anymore
Puskas quality goal from Auba there
if this post get less then 20k upvotes i'm disappointed
Narrator: He was
Yeah, worth of hitting the top of /all with that skill
I’m doing my part!
And my upvote!
Saddest back flip material
It’s a front flip
that was for inching ever closer to the golden boot
Goal of the month fuck Salah
Keeper did everything he could
No way saving that.
The ball was past him before he even had a chance to move
Beaten as soon as the ball left Auba's foot
Backheel and everything
Hazard’s was better than Salah’s anyway
Depends if you like dribbling more than distance shots. While hazards dribbling was awesome, if also felt like the defense couldn't really react after he got around the first one.
Everybody was a step late, still it was amazing to recognize this and take the chance.
Regarding the distance shot, it is quite spectacular but, like with all distance shots I personally rate them lower because it often feels to me like there are soooo many attempts over the year at those shots that some of them will go in and look amazing.
Agreed. There have been some special goals this season. I’d also say in terms of goal of the season that Townsend’s strike is better than Salah’s. What’s been the best goal so far this season for you?
Also appreciate the discussion instead of downvoting and not contributing anything. Thank you!
I’m not the guy you replied to but Townsend’s goal is better than Salah’s any day of the week mate. Goal of the season for me by a good, good margin.
I still rate Sturridge’s goal against Chelsea higher than Salah’s against Chelsea, in all honesty.
Depends if you like dribbling more than distance shots
Depends if you like dribbling more than distance shots
easy choice there
Even the shittest player can hit a nice long shot once in a while
There's definitely skill in those long shots, but yeah I kind of agree. The way the ball moves after a knuckle shot (no spin) is more or less random, down to tiny changes in air pressure. Salah hit it with beautiful technique, but the fact that it took that path into the far corner is partly luck.
>Absolute bomb of a goal
>opportunistic pression preceded by karius-tier antics.
You are delusional.
The comment was clearly a joke mate
Some people just don’t get stuff like this.
a MAD lad if you will
It's a joke. You are so dense.
This is early 22 unbeaten levels of scrappy.
BEN FOSTER THE IMPOSTER
That insane performance from him in the 2010/11 Carling Cup final against us was all fake, this is the real him!
Although his most underrated performance was in Leave No Trace, truly world class
What Carling Cup final? That year it was cancelled, right? Right?
TROY WITH ZERO COJONES
Cost you 300 in that you failed to win 300 or you lost 300?
What a Save!
Foster disabled for 4 seconds.
_xXFoster69Xx_ has disconnected
No one challenges kickoff, 2nd goal scored, 0-2
Edit: Formatting on mobile
I know we're meming but that was a perfectly fine pass. Keeper touched it 2 meteres away, not sure what he expected.
The "Great Pass!" is aimed at Foster, in RL it is customary to flame the person who made the last touch if it leads directly to an opposition goal.
Ridiculous from Foster. Great work by Auba!
Foster hasn’t done his scouting
How did that go? Was it a goal?
No, the ball went away.
Damn it. Hate when your balls go away and you’re left there all embarrassed.
Don’t know I wasn’t there.
Looks like the ball goes out at the end, but point is Auba is cheetah fast at closing down on keepers. I have seen numerous clips.
Yeah point was clear :) Just curious if it was a goal :)
fuck that guy is asking to be megged...would have been beautiful
Holy fucking shit
Auba is crazy fast. Any faster strikers in the premier league ?
how the fuck did you upload this before it even happened on my screen
If you want to know!
Capture card --> PC/OBS --> Streamable --> reddit
The first three in 1 key press.
Interestingly Streamable is the bottleneck, (and also typing the reddit post), otherwise the goal would be posted 15/20 seconds sooner. On top of that my Sky Q is seemingly delayed 7/8 seconds today as well for some odd reason! Damn it, Sky.
I've always wondered what's the motivation for people who keep uploading this stuff. Like what keeps you doing this.
I post these to the Gunners Discord in the live chat, helps out those unfortunate to not have an English HD stream or TV -- also for the Gooners at work!
Then I also post here so that people can see a good quality replay in English.
You have my thanks.
We love you guys for it!
Your work is appreciated.
Use your powers to host a good quality stream with no buffering please.
I watch entire match livestream at work anyway but thank you - Keep up the good work my man
Not an Arsenal fan but you’re doing gods work
You’re a hero
hats off to you sir
Thank you for your service 🙏
Thank you! You do awesome work!
Can I get an invite to that discord?
Can i have the discord channel link ples?
But what's the point of karma in Reddit?
Nothing really, but to post on some subreddits requires a minimum karma count.
I rarely post, but from my view when I am watching a game on my PC for some reason I can upload a goal after it happens with OBS, so basically it's just 15 seconds of distraction, so - why not
Run for president.
Why can't you automate the reddit post via the api?
I mean I can to an extent, however you can't automate the post title if you want it uploaded quickly - also anything inaccurate will get removed from this sub.
I have a couple ideas on how to automate it all, just not had time yet! Programmer woes.
Why do you do it?
how do you do the first three in one key press? Saving the video and dragging it to streamable are usually 4-5 actions for me
Someone make an /r/soccer bot that automatically replies to any comment on a replay post that includes words "how" and "upload" and "before"
I've only just realised that's Shia Labeouf.
I thought it was Dr. Disrespect
hahahaha I knew exactly what this was before I clicked on it
He is faster than Auba
Same, I’m a good 2 minutes behind it appears
This question is as dumb as people asking how time zones work.
EA 99 stand tackle for Auba when?
Bran quietly sitting at the top-right corner.
Waiting for an old friend.
waiting for a mate
One of the best things about GoT being back on is seeing memes from it seep into all corners of the internet
It's funny that I haven't watched a single episode yet I'm still told about the biggest events via the sheer force of memes
foster baby what are u doing
bb wut is u doin
HAVE MY BABIES AUBA
The trouble with Arsenal is they always try to press it in
Fucks sake, foster has been so good all season. And now deeney is off... Think I'm done with football 😭
I feel you, but we still played brilliantly considering.
Foster has been incredible the whole season so one fuck up can be surely forgiven.
Deeney’s red should’ve been a yellow. His movement was that of the usual shoulder barge, but it just so happened that his opponent was pretty small and it ended up in his face. Not a good excuse - he should’ve been aware and should’ve been calmer, but not a red in my estimations.
Either way - Watford played very and were unlucky to not take a point. Likewise, Arsenal had several good chances and could’ve sealed the game earlier on.
Foster why :(
Watford doing everything possible to avoid European football
Banking on winning cup final.
so this is what Poacher means...
I am not so sure. People refer to Poacher as someone who just waits in the penalty area waiting for his chance. Aubameyang has literally created his goal through his own shear pace. If anything he should get an assist for this as well.
When I think of poacher, I think of Filippo Inzaghi as the archetype. As Sir Alex Ferguson said "That lad must have been born offside."
Auba can close you down quicker than you can say Twatford.
Greatest goal I've ever seen
Obvs an arsenal fan
Couldn't have happened to a nicer lad
His hair is fucking ridiculous
First gold. Cheers mate. COYS
Like a balding high top
Exactly that I think
So goddamn wispy and entrancing.
He looks like that dude from Kid n play
Shades of Alexis. Ironically, vs Watford again ^
Shaqtin’ a fool nominee
he did this sooo often in Dortmund as well, kinda glad it finally worked out once :D
Fozzy, I love ya....but that was terrible
Looooooool. Leno just got away with one
That was a Lukaku-esque first touch from Foster there. Ball was 3 feet from him as soon as it touched his boot
Arsenal aren’t good away from home. Ben Foster: Hold my beer!
We still aren't. If not for Foster's bollocksing on the goal we probably wouldn't have won this game
Timely bollocking by Foster as far as Arsenal is concerned.
I mean at this point we'll take all the help we can get away from home but it was a pretty dire game from us overall
Don't forget Deeney's bollocksing as well!
Immense closing down by Auba
Gomes died for this
Can’t believe how casual Foster was there.
excuse me. what the fuck
That took some cojones.
Auba with the cojones
lmao what the fuck
When you try to Alisson but you are not Alisson
Peak FM Goal
You don't do that when Auba is pressing u lads
COYG 2 more goals & im happy
Won't even be asked for the FA cup game
Goal of the month right here lads
Pathetic shit honestly
Foster being a gentleman and making sure there are no doubts about Gomes playing the final
well, that's something you don't see everyday.
Wow, that is a stupid goal
I am sitting at Vicarage Road valiantly choosing not to watch this again. Just wanted to come here to say that that was so, so unlike Foster.
Foster really doesn't wanna play the fa cup final.
foster is legit retarted
This is a great example to show young players the importance of hustling. Aubameyang mentioned in his post match interview that this is the first goal of this kind he has scored and was delighted, which conveys the man’s work ethic. Bravo!
This dumb headed move cost me £1250.
FUCKING THANK YOU FOSTER
You bet that much on arsenal losing to Watford? Damn some dedicated spurs fan
I always bet against shit. :) You have to consider watford’s great home form and arsenal abysmal away form. Thanks to foster and deeney I got fucked!
Foster : stands with the ball
Aubameyang : I'm about to end this man whole career
Fuck same Watford, not like that.
Ben Foster fucking up like this is a beautiful sight
And Deeney too
That acceleration though
Pure determination from Auba there
Shame as Watford were on top.
IT WASN'T US
This was fun!
Backheeled it in! Puskas!
If I were a Watford outfield player I'd want to punch Foster at halftime.
Goal of the season contender
Wow that was so quick.
I looked at how little time was left on the video when that back pass happened and thought "Oh no oh no oh noooooooo"
Puskas award winner
What a joke.....
"Laughing in Karius"
Auba with the Batman hair
Sub in Gomes
He slipped into time-wasting mode a bit early there.
You useless cunt Foster.
Some fifa shit rhere
If you are shit at Fifa
wow that is bad
What is this match honestly? Lmfao
Foster continues with charity work towards less fortunate. What a nice guy.
Foster mate, you okay?
Arsenal leading in an away game? Say it ain't so.
Well if you're just gonna give it to us like that... Can't really blame us, can ya?
No one wants 7th
Agent Foster reporting for duty
Too bad it happend to Foster,he has been great for Watford all season.
Oh for fuck sake
Stupid goalkeeper but good pressing
His hair looks like a photoshop brush.
A rare howler from Foster
The fuck is that hair
A fuckup and a half from Foster
Auba has turboboosters
I guess this is why Ederson Alisson and Kepa got bought for so much
Kepa got bought for so much because he's the keeper AND the manager
“Foster has been a top 3 player this season” Stuart Pearce
Lmao. What an idiot.
Well this makes me upset.
But man Aub is quick..
if you score like this, we call it "photo"
Work rate goal
Ty Karius !
folds hands behind back and stands as still as possible
You gotta be fucking kidding me
Foster did do a bad job, but damn Auba did well to fullfill the run and that pace tho!
Typical Auba flair goal, but he will probably miss the next sitter.
*next several sitters
The first time I saw this I thought that was Mustafi on the right wing with the step overs and the cross. Had to situp and and watch it more carefully.
Lyon fans already know tf goin on
William Nylander like.
Goal of the season
What a shot!
foster mate thats not how you assist
"Salah's goal has to be goal of the season"
Auba: Hold my beer.
Foster: Yeah, okay, no that’s fine, yeah, okay, no, it’s fine, yeah, no it’s fi
My stream opened just as Foster received the ball, your welcome.
Nice hustle for the goal by Aubameyang but he ain't got nothing on THE Niklas Bendtner.
A comedic goal endured by goalkeeper
Foster was just having a great season though :(
I hate Arsenal but how could someone not like Auba?
This is the kind of shit I fear happening to Alisson one of these days.
Proper,proper dogshit keeping
Works 60% of the time, everytime
What an idiot
That’s my boi Aubameyang. Laca and Auba need to be the next duo partnership like Messi and Suarez. Lots of potential but still not there yet
Why the fuck did the defender go back to the keeper? He had time to hoof it long.
Jfc Watford you had one job
Thats nearly as bad as that American keeper the other day :D
Fucking hell. Why do all our rivals have to keep getting these retarded results.
Classic "reddit silver" goal
the Auba is in his natural habitat... he’s stalking, he could strike at any momen–BWAH MAGIC!!!
I think the post medical assessment will show Foster had concussion
Retarded Foster shows once more why he is retarded.
Thats why etheridge is the best
Can anyone edit in Andy Gray saying “WHAT A HIT SON! What a hit!” as it goes in?
Should not have been a red, should not have scored, and watford could have scored many times.
That’s one of those games as a fan that your team “wins” but it makes you pathetically depressed.
I am speed.
Your hair goes like that once reached max speed
Someone needs to have a word with Auba about his hair.
It was a very good game and it scored a very wonderful goal
Watch Arsenal beat Ali Watford in the English Premier League
What a dePRESSING goal
Fuck off Foster
Lack of cojones on Auba giving him super speed.
what makes this offside? there was no forward pass from an Arsenal player?
this should really count as own goal ffs
In Watford we believe 😞
Fifa 19 is still pretty realistic. Saw something similar in my own game.
What a fuck donkey of goal keeper
Clear foul by Koscielny but ok
Should have been called offside.
