all that tree rustling was so suspenseful, the ending was just too perfect!
i was waiting for an actual doggosaur
It’s YOUR time to fetch now KAREN.
Why do I feel like this is r/suddenlyrickandmorty
Gross. People in that subreddit are probably wayyyy too intelligent for the rest of us.
I was waiting for the Smoke Monster from Lost.
Nah man, it’s just Vincent
You beat me by 12 minutes, you bastard!
Me too!!! 😁
Was waiting for the alien from signs to pop out
I clicked by accident so I had no idea what was going to happen. Had Jurassic Park raptor scene in mind until good boye showed off his big stick.
OH LAWD HE COMIN
It starts off like a horror movie!
Felt like I was watching Jurassic Park
It reminded me of Jurassic Park. When they’re feeding the cow to the raptors.
I was half expecting a Jurassic Park raptor to pop out.
I was expecting a Raptor!
I haven't seen this jurassic park
Haha I know it was like that scene from Jurassic park!
Like an actual Jurassic Park scene
“Mom, dad, I found something!”
Loading team, step away.
For some reason I was expecting a giraffe to pop out and start chasing them.
FYI - nobody cares!!!
Who pissed in your cereal this morning?
The beginning looks like a scene from Jurassic Park. DINOS ARE COM.... wait no, it’s a hilarious and adorable pupper. So proud of herself and rightfully so. 😆
Exactly what I was thinking of 😂
Then BAM! Right in her ankles.
The way the fern drops lower and lower until the tiny doggo comes out
Definitely. It should be cut up with the dude saying "clever girl" before the raptor attack somehow
YES! Brilliant. 🤣🤣
She is best stick finder.
Back when humans cooked over a fire, she'd have been the greatest firewood collector of them all!
Hello, you dumbass human,
I’ve brought you a big stick.
You’re a fucking shitty hunter,
To be frank, you’re kind of thick.
I’ll be your faithful buddy
& I’ll brighten shitty moods.
Just don’t forget to throw some
Fucking steak bits in my food.
Edit: more profanity, as requested.
WHOA THERE, BUCKAROO!
YOU’VE MADE A SPELLING ERROR!
YOU’VE MADE THE ENGLISH MAJORS
CONVULSE IN FEAR & TERROR!
I’m sure no one noticed,
& few people cried.
Here, take my updoot,
At least you, sir, tried.
You've made me honestly wonder if ancient humans ever actually trained their dogs to retrieve wood for that reason

My ex was better :/
Pet her!! PETTT HERRRR!
har har harrrr, awoofharharharrrhar
Underrated comment friend.
Just came to make a Jurassic Park reference and I see this 😂🙌 you made my day.
I was expecting a big stick. The stick was bigger than I was expecting.
And the dog smaller
On another entirely different note... what did you use to film this? The quality is fricking amazing
This is on an iPhone 8 Plus, been pretty impressed with it
I just got an 8 Plus and I am in love with the camera quality
is this in woodhill?
You really think so? Doesn’t look that great to me
If it's on a phone camera like I think it is then I think it's really astounding. Look at the color and quality of those leaves! I still remember the photo quality of my old lg flip phone and it really boggles my mind how far we've come with phone cameras... it's so surreal.
The autoplay video is much lower quality than if you actually click on it. The more you know!
Embedded YouTube and vimeo videos are also by default lower quality than when you watch it on their sites. It's like thumbnail but for video
Before she even came out I guessed pibble- was pibble
Pibbles are my favorite dog. I swear when I retire I’m replacing my children with them.
I thought she was a staffie?
Staffordshire terriers are one of four breeds that are pit bulls.
I guess staffies are bullies and are officially recognized by the AKC, but the American Pit Bull Terrier is not. So r/technicallythetruth?
I am so angry to live in a place where pitbulls are blamed for the acts of horrible human owners training to be fighting dogs, Even before pitbulls were banned here German shepherds had the highest attack rates, pitbulls were like 3rd or 4th,
when I was looking for a dog there weren't many breeds that I was specifically interested in but pitbull would have absolutely been very high on the list, had they been legal here instead of any pitbull puppy find it's way into a shelter being euthanized
Me too! My very first thought was, “it has GOT to be a pibble” 😄
That’s not a stick...that’s a tree!
Underrated comment, right here.
There goes your kneecaps
Is this the OG dog from the video of the pittie gently tippy tapping down a path with the largest stick ever?
No, but can relate to that dog owner so hard haha. She’s carried fence posts a good 50 yards or so
Oh my god I love her, she is THE branch manager
I read 50 years there for a moment and I thought 'damn, dogs don't get that old, right?' Lol
That bush was shaking like it was in a horror film 😂
Awe, it’s a staffy 💖
The bestest of dogs!
Other people are saying pibble. Are they close breeds to each other?
Apparently pretty close. Staffies are supposed to have been bred as show dogs while pibbles were not. Therefore the pibble tends to be a bit heavier than staffies. In addition there are apparently American breeds of staffies which complicates the clarity too.
I did not know this! Thank you!
Pitbull Terrier and Staffordshire Terrier! Both terriers
They are so cute! My dog is an English staffy too and she does the exact same thing.
That walk looks NZ as heck.
That was my first thought too.
Looking for this comment. This is 100% NZed
That's not a stick, it's reached log levels.
Called it in my head it would be a pit bull
by twelve seconds in.... it's gotta be a pit. 10/10
I've seen my half pitbull do something similar.
GOOD STICK! BIG STICK! MINE!
Oh God bless her little heart. How funny is this?!?!
I expected a golden with a stick 3x its width not a pittie with a stick 3x its length.
Jesus those dogs are strong.
Thank you, as a velvet hippo owner this is a fantastic additon to my subreddit list
“This is minez.”
Love it but worry for her teeths.
You were downvoted but I was going to say the same thing, my pupper broke a canine cause he always did the same, he LOVED hauling around the biggest sticks he could find. Super adorable, but terrible for their teeth!
Yep, a friends dog did the same. That's why I mentioned it.
The goodest girl
Doctor Satler, my dear Doctor Grant — welcome, to Jurassic Bark.
What is with pitties and sticks?
My BIL has two and they will tear down a large sapling if no sticks are available.
Ya know, seeing people with dogs of the leash always kind of blows my mind.
Like, I know my dogs will always come back, and my oldest (Jack Russel) won't wander too far, but my youngest, he's 50 kilos of pure energy and destruction that will likely injure himself or someone/something else before coming back. He too, collects sticks. I then have to take them off him a day or two later because he is honestly just eating them. I had to remove the barkchips from my yard because he was eating them like cereal.
Have always had pitties... I knew this was coming from experience 😁
I just knew it would be a velvet hippo.
I loved this episode of Lost.
That looks like tick city. 10/10 stick though.
That dog must have so many ticks
Fucking Jurassic Park tree rustle and then just smacks their owner with the giant stick. Clever girl.
Opening scene of Jurassic Park
Remember on Lost.. when they met the 'Others'?
Check for ticks!
To be fair, that is an impressive stick. I would probably pick it up too and carry it around so I could pretend to be Gandalf.
That long rustling at the beginning reminds me of the goat scenes in Jurassic Park.
Needs Jurassic Park music.
That buildup was amazing
My first dog would carry sticks like this all the time. I was so used to it that I stopped thinking it was unusual. One day I met a woman on the trail who was dying laughing the whole time she approached. I couldn't figure out why until she mentioned the stick. Then I was like, "Oh, yeah, that's funny isn't it?"
Love that she comes out backwards! Yanking that branch out of its home!
I love the anticipation of this video and then the reveal is perfect, then she smacks you in the shins 🤣
I knew before the pupper came out that it would be a pittie! My pittie does the same with logs, giant limbs and sticks. So adorable.
I was expecting a velociraptor to come out
So was I! The suspense was terrifying!
All that bush rustling reminded me of Jurassic Park.
my 9 week old puppy is doing this, with smaller (but still twice her size or larger!) sticks. I feel like this is my future. I just hope I can take her to enough places to find such big sticks at your pup!
it's her walking stick
i’m so proud of her
I really had no clue what was gonna come out of the bushes....
I knew this was a dog subreddit, but I still half expected the smoke-monster from Lost to emerge from the brush.
It’s okay your pup is just collecting branches for those wilderness poop top mud hut making videos that are all over Twitter
Saved for a sad day - holy shit so cute
Let me guess, American?
My dog does this too. He's a 30 LB frenchbulldog.
She is my spirit animal
If it fits! I sticks.
The new jurassic world trailer looks dope.
We bred dogs for this right? Help us gather wood in exchange for food. I want to understand.
OMG... Laughed out loud
I love this so much
Silly dog! So cute! I wonder why she does it??
I thought for sure a velociraptor was on it's way out.
Thats not a stick, THIS is a stick!
My dog likes those sticks too. I call em Shinbruisers.
The sticks... not the dog...
No, your dog brought you a tree
What a sweetheart 😍😘😘😘❤️
Why did I expect an elephant
That woman just got her ankles chopped
Out of the bushes into the shins
How long does this process of stick searching take? And what happens when the walk is over? These dogs should be friends
the biggest my pitty dragged a mile home was 11 feet long. He had the BEST stick collection
Jurassic park opening at the beginning there :)
This is adorable but you’re going to have to do a tick check after that
will she drop the stick if she finds a bigger stick?
Mildly contagious laughter.
My little Maltese does this too. I think it's pretty cute. Only thing missing is a tight rope. :)
Lmao legit had me shook
It's log from blammo!
Oh hey, that's me as a dog.
I was expecting a T-Rex or Velociraptor to pop out, fucking Jurassic Park style shit your dog pulled
I'm surprised I appear to be the only one asking but did the smack of the tree against that girls leg hurt her? I'm merely curious, it was most likely low impact...
...but also a small tree
looks dutch, but the time of year is off
The fact that she came out butt first just takes this gif over the top hahaha
I hope she picked up her shins before they left lol
*Pulls paper out of a hat* Things you can say about your dog, but not your girlfriend.
Just comes back with a tree, "I'M READY TO GO HOME NOW!!"
CrossFit for dogs
Looks like BC flora
Oh fuck. I love this!
Same with my pupper, the bigger the better!
Awwwwww was hoping for raptor.
What can you say? She's a size queen.
It reminds me of the scene when the kids are waiting for the T-Rex to come in the first Jurrasic park, then the electric fence dies and everything shakes (and poor mister goat).
Man, great movie.
I KNEW it would be a pibble!! They're always doing outrageous stuff like this!!
This is hilarious
What a show off
The beginning makes me think of Jurassic Bark.
Take this and splice them together please and thank you https://youtu.be/qz5JmgLQEzs?t=46
I needed this today. Thank you.
This might be a dumb question but how do you get your dog to come back to you when you take it outside without a leash? What if it just runs away? Or chases a wild animal or another dog? I’ve never owned a dog, only indoor cats.
It's a skill you train the dog with. It's called recall. You train it inside with treats and the "come" command. Pair it with heel, wait and let's go and eventually you can go most places with the dog off leash. It's all about positive reinforcement and building on small steps setting the dog up to succeed.
My boyfriend’s family dog (American field lab) and our dog (shelter mutt, probably a lab/Pyrenees/shepherd mix) do the same thing! They always look so confused and offended when they can’t get through a gate or a doorway with the branch, but they both won’t drop it unless commanded to do so
I was at a lake one time and my dog dragged part of a tree to me. Like 3-4ft if a tree, rather.
My dog loved doing this too! Just be mindful of keeping their teeth healthy. My dog chipped many teath on "sticks" like this.
That shin shot, oof
🎶 Yeee-ee..ye-ye... The Lion sleeps tonight...🎶
Can we get a combo of this with the " Clever girl" scene from Jurassic Park.
Great build up and awesome reveal, bravo.
Love the ladies laugh!
Does she also walk softly?
This looked like a scene from Jurassic park and I was expecting a lamb to get eaten but no
:see the first half:
oh ok thats about as big as I was exp-
:Other half swings around and kicks woman in the shins from 10 feet away:
Really reminded me of the airfield scene in Jurassic Park 3
You threw that stick into the bushes.
I knew she was gonna be a pittie! She's so cute!!!
There is something out there waiting for us. And it ain't no man!
Those moving bushes are pure true comedy. Unbeatable image
The anticipation is frightening!
The rustle rustle rustle wack is hilarious.
Our dog carries around stones the size of his head.
First thing I thought.. This is a pitbull thing... I bet she's a pibble.... Yup! Awesome
I thought a TRex was going to burst out with the bushes shaking so much. :)
I was waiting for a velociraptor to come out of the bushes!
Dogs are awesome!
(Fear of ticks intensifies)
Jurassic Park: The Lost Stick
Where is this? It looks at lot like a place I walk my grandparents dogs up near Maidenhead UK
It's up at Wyre Forest in the midlands
Oh damn, I was a bit off then :P
I was waiting for a spinosaurus tho. This was better.

Thats a good girl
I was kind of expecting a raptor 😹
That is one happy pupper
I knew it would be a pit! Good girl, get that stick!!
In the Jungle song intensifies
I knew it was going to be a pit bull/bully hahaha
Somehow I expected a dinosaur coming out there
Is she a staffie?? My staff used to do the same thing! If it couldn’t be classed as a small tree she wasn’t interested.
Love how she just casually slaps her with the tree and continues walking
Speak softly and carry a big stick
ah. the bruised shin. a classic.
All I could think of was raptors in the tall grass. I loved the pupper with a huge stick way more.
My first thought was that you'd definitely need to check her thoroughly for ticks afterward. I hope the owner is taking very good care of this precious pup!
Reminds me a day at the dog park when my two medium sized pups had found about a 3 foot long stick and were proudly carrying it one dog on each end of the stick. Then a dog like this walks by. They stopped, stared for a moment in what I can only assume was awe and stick envy, and quiety dropped their stick.
My dog does this but she ends up wearing herself out trying to drag around huge chunks of split logs.
I think I got a tick on myself just watching that
I thought the polar bear from lost was going to jump out
Oh lawd he comin
Just don't be angry if your unleashed dog runs up to my leashed dog and gets bit.
Unlike your mom. She'd find the biggest dick available and keep hold of it for an entire walk!
How about you find the biggest bullet available and free humanity of your existence?
