Ahh the classic Lincoln line "nothing makes an Englishman shit so quick as the sight of General Washington" repurposed well.
O'l Ethan Allen!
You are correct! I figured more people would get it from the scene in the movie Lincoln.
Philadelphia is a classy town.
Fuckin' one-bridge-having piece of shit city that no one gives a fuck about.
That doesn’t even make sense. Walt Whitman, Ben Franklin, Betsy Ross, Tacony Palmyra off the top of my head
Dude. That is my go-to insult for Philly, being from the most-bridges-on-earth-havin-ass-city on the other side of the state.
We are a great people when it comes to out sports teams
Hard to deny that it's fucking hilarious, though.
It's be funnier if Crosby didn't gave 2.3ppg this series and put up hat trick in the first game.
Here I think you dropped this: /s
flyer fans are always touching their weiners when they look at Crosby?
I’m a die hard flyers fan but this was an excellent observation
I live in Philly but love Pittsburgh. Fans here are horrible. Love their teams but ignorant pricks
They take pride in it.
That’s philly in a nutshell.
There's ignorant prick fans everywhere.
Not like Philly Fan.
Philly fans throw battery-laden snowballs at Santa. Philly fans curb stomp & kill each other. Philly fans puke on children. Philly fans sucker punch opponent's fans on the street. Philly fans boo their team's #1 overall draft pick.
That's just of the top of my head.
I hated that the Super Bowl had to be won for Philly fans or Massholes.
I feel like this would cause a lot of splatter
My first thought too.
I don't know what this means but I like it.
Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are huge rivals and they're facing each other in the playoffs. Someone put a picture of the best player for Pittsburgh in the urinals at the Plilly arena.
As a Pittsburgher (lived here less than 2 years but LOVE this city) I HAD to buy this shirt and it may be my favorite piece of clothing now.
My old man has had a picture of Ron hextall in our toilet that we shit on since the 90s
How'd that work for Philly? xD
stay classy, philly
But.... But there's no ice..
I went to a Pens/Flyers game in Philly many years ago. I had my pens jersey on, and it wasn’t that bad. I do recall they booed everything Most notably, an icing call.
Flyers fan here, Yep
No worries, he will get a concussion his first shift.
Hat trick game one. 4 points in game three. Doesn't seem like your prediction is correct.
Pittsburgh fans...where nobody cared until they started winning. I remember the mid-2000s where they thought about moving the team. Where were all these life long fans then. I'm not a flyers fan, but are least they stick with the team through thick and thin.
I was there. They were there. Look at the Pirates fan base if you think Pittsburgh fans aren’t loyal.
Sorry bud but I'd rather look at facts than a biased fan.
We Pittsburghers may be many things, but fair-weather fans aren’t one of them.
This happened in Kansas City in 2014 with the Royals. In 2014 they made it to the playoffs for the first time since 1984 and that year they averaged like 11,000 people per game. The next year it was nearly a sellout crowd every night and people that never even talked about baseball were suddenly wearing Hosmer jerseys and shit. Ned Yost even made a comment on air about how the team was doing great but the city wasn't doing shit to come out and support them.
Spot on. If it weren’t for Lemieux, Vegas would have had a team much sooner
